A first-floor reconfiguration with the kitchen expanded into adjoining space, finished with a Southern-inspired palette.
The kitchen was too small for how the family cooked and gathered, so the first floor was reorganised to give it the footprint it needed.
Finishes were chosen to feel settled rather than new, keeping the character of the house while the layout underneath it changed considerably.
